The Program Coordinator supports all programmatic areas of our organization in the delivery, expansion, and administration of our programs, which include: financial education, asset building, first time homebuying, and small business development. We are seeking a candidate who is strongly self-motivated, demonstrates a high level of initiative, and loves to solve problems.
Duties & Responsibilities
Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Contributes to the development, delivery, and tracking of customized training/technical assistance products and services in the areas of financial education and asset building
Serves as support staff and provides full range of administrative assistance;
Data entry for market study analysis, technical assistance trainings, and general purposes;
Prepares information into professional quality documents
Works with other staff on interdisciplinary efforts;
Performs other duties as assigned by Director of Programs & Lending and Executive Director
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience providing facilitation, presentations and event planning in similar organization/field;
Experience with Native nonprofit organization, community or economic development nonprofit
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Computer experience utilizing Windows and Microsoft Office Suite required;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Capacity to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions;
Ability to work under diverse situations and multi-task;
Possess the awareness of the complexities of community development in Native communities;
Availability and willingness to travel if needed
Demonstrates effective and proactive problem-solving skills
